Our Aspiring Artist program is designed for students who range from beginners (those who have never applied makeup on others or even themselves) to even those who already have experience as working makeup artists.

This program is designed to accommodate students instructionally from the basics and fundamentals of cosmetic theory -- from facial anatomy to color theory to color harmony and the complete functionality of makeup.

Our teaching curriculum includes but is not limited to sanitation and hygiene practices, foundation matching and color selection and correction, mastering all skin types and skin tones, beauty makeup (techniques for media, commercial/film/production, special event and bridal makeup), avant-garde/fantasy/editorial makeup, and photography for the makeup artist.

We also set our students up for success with our business/branding/industry and kit building classes, as well as full portfolio building with our professional photographer and their own models that are photographed.

Our short term programs are an introduction of what we teach in our long term programs, however; not as many techniques are covered. This program is still a great jump start to your career in makeup artistry and is just as detail oriented in structure as our long term program. We have recently revamped this curriculum to accommodate our out of state/non local students. After completion of this program, you will gain the confidence with your skillset to provide quality makeup services.
