I’m so blessed to be an alumni of TMSSR! I’ve been in this industry for over 10 yrs and throughout my journey I’m always reminded of what i was taught. Rather it’s color theory (which EVERY artist should know), how to take pictures, how to dress professionally or how to engage with clients. I started out as a self taught artist but I wanted to know more--I wanted a diverse clientele. I wanted to not only become better at my craft but to confidently educate others. After I graduated, I landed a job at MAC Cosmetics and now 10 yrs later--I’m a full time makeup artist. Having always loved all things beauty, I decided to enroll is Sarah Rillons “Makeup for the Aspiring Artist” Program in 2019. It was one of the best decisions I could’ve made for my career. Sarah has been the best teacher/friend/coworker providing her valuable knowledge and insane makeup talent and it was an honor being able to work beside her on weddings and special events. Not only did I make forever friends, connections, and gained job opportunities, I was also able to pursue my dreams as becoming a special event/bridal makeup artist. As a student of TMSSR, I thoroughly enjoyed my training. The class setting was small and intimate, the teachers were amazing, and for every technique taught, we were able to individually receive hands on training.
